Britain's MOJO Magazine Gives Four-Star Rating to It's No Wonder

MOJO, dubbed as "the world's finest music magazine," featured It's No Wonder: The Life and Times of Motown's Legendary Songwriter Sylvia Moy in a recent book review section. The popular magazine, which is published in the United Kingdom, gave the much-lauded biography a 4-star rating.

Motown's soul-infused/pop sound had a global impact on the world, especially in the UK. With the Detroit-based label's success there, this helped to shape British pop and R&B with groups like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones being influenced by the Motown sound. It's no secret that the rise of Northern Soul, which dealt with British dance and record-collecting culture built around rare American soul singles, also was influenced by Hitsville U.S.A.
